From May 20th to May 24th, representatives from the academic staff at the Faculty of Human and Natural Sciences UNIKO, participated into the the Erasmus+ international staff training week at Daugavpils University (DU), Latvia. As part of the International Staff Week, presentations by international guests, discussions on future cooperation and possible joint projects were held at DU. The Institute of Life Sciences and Technologies was visited. Individual visits of participants to DU faculties, departments and administrative units were planned, during which the international representatives met with counterparts to discuss more specific issues of cooperation, as well as to plan future tasks. The programme also included a lecture on the Latvian language and culture, so that the participants can create an idea of the values of the Latvian cultural canon and learn functional phrases for communication in Latvian.

International Staff Week serves as a platform to build and strengthen partnerships with universities around the world.
