Mrs. Anila Xhillari<\/strong> Head of Financial Department<\/p>\n

This Department is responsible for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Supervise all financial operations related to:\n
      \n
    • expenses for the activities of the University of Kor\u00e7a;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • staff payments, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • operating expenses and investments, in cooperation with the Economic Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • At the beginning of each budget year, in cooperation with the Economic Department, preparing the allocation plan for budget funds and coordinating the implementation of budget plan and related tasks;<\/li>\n
        • Monitoring budget expenditures and other funds available to the University, reconciling monthly the progressive expenditure statements (salaries, social security, operating expenses, scholarships, investments, etc.) with the Treasury Branch, and making reallocations of the expenditure plan whenever necessary;<\/li>\n
        • Carrying out accounting operations related to budget funds, investments, currency, income, donations, and projects.<\/li>\n
        • Being responsible for creating, updating, and reconciling the accounting register of all assets owned or administered by the institution, including public properties that generate income;<\/li>\n
        • Ensuring the proper movement and documentation of goods. In specific cases, with the authorization of the Authorizing Officer, and in the presence of the employee in charge of asset management, transferring goods from the supplier to the user while observing all required procedures;<\/li>\n
        • Reporting to the Ministry of Education and Sports all required financial data, periodically each month, and additionally whenever requested by the supervising institution;<\/li>\n
        • Preparing the economic data required by the institution\u2019s directors and other departments for various studies and activities approved by the Senate, the Administrative Board, and the Rectorate; based on data analysis, conducting studies and making proposals for improving financial structures and working methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
