Z. Xhovan Sara\u00e7i<\/strong> Head of Economic Department<\/p>\n

This Department is responsible for:\u00a0<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Managing the daily economic activities of the University in accordance with the legal acts in force;<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring, prior to the approval of economic documents and orders, the legality, regularity, and compliance with the principles of economy, efficiency, and effectiveness;<\/li>\n
  • Coordinating the work of the employees of Economic Directorate based on their functional duties, and when deemed necessary, assigning specific tasks while monitoring and analyzing their implementation;<\/li>\n
  • Under the direction of the Administrator and in cooperation with the Director of the Finance Directorate, organizing and directing the drafting of the draft budget and the medium-term budget program, in strict compliance with the criteria, procedures, and deadlines set by the ministry responsible for finance;<\/li>\n
  • Informing the University Administrator periodically, and whenever requested, about the activities of the Economic Department, existing problems, and their solution;<\/li>\n
  • Preparing an overview of the budget requests submitted by the main units within the specified deadlines, and presenting it to the Administrator for review and approval for the preparation of the University\u2019s medium-term budget project;<\/li>\n
  • Drafting, in cooperation with Faculties, the investment development strategy of the University;<\/li>\n
  • Monitoring the implementation of the annual plan for works, goods, and services of the units, according to the requests submitted by the main units, academic structures, and administrative support structures, to ensure the continuity of the teaching process and the Institution\u2019s activities, in line with the approved divisions;<\/li>\n
  • Verifying the requests for goods, and services of the main units, ensuring that expenditures do not exceed the funds allocated for this purpose, and submitting them to the Administrator for approval;<\/li>\n
  • In cooperation with the relevant University structures, and under the direction of the University Administrator, planning the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the implementation of the teaching process, as well as investment planning, in line with the institutional development strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
