INFARSTRUCTURE<\/strong> <\/strong>\u2013<\/strong> <\/strong>LIBRARY AND LABORATORIES IN FNHS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Natural and Human Sciences, <\/span><\/span>with a surface of 10251<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span>m<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span><\/strong> conducts its teaching an scientific activity in two buildings; the new building (the <\/span><\/span>former Division<\/span><\/span>) and the existing building of the <\/span><\/span>School of Nursing<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The main building with a surface of <\/span><\/span>772.8 m<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>\u202f<\/span><\/strong>  <\/span><\/strong>(<\/span><\/span>two floors<\/span><\/span>) has in its disposal three lecture halls with a capacity of 50-80 seats, 6 seminar halls with a capacity of 30-40 seats and 1 amphitheatre with a capacity of 140 seats. The second hall is a library and a centre where the internet access is available to the students.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These auditoriums provides<\/span><\/span> comfortable conditions for the realization of the teaching process.<\/span><\/span> <\/span>All the rooms are equipped with video projectors which will be used for presentations of different works in didactic and scientific field.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are 7 laboratories in the central building of the Faculty of Natural and Human Science such as:<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Laboratory of Biology <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Laboratory of Chemistry <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2 laboratories of Informatics<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

3 laboratories of Physic, established in 2 facilities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The library, which has a surface of 163 m<\/span>2<\/sup>, is one of the main information and research centre in the Faculty of Natural and Human Sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Facilities of the Library in FNHS<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It includes books which belong to the different disciplines, mainly to the branches of Philosophy and Sociology, Nursing, Biology-Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Informatics etc. The titles present important texts written in <\/span><\/span>the most frequently used languages<\/span><\/span> in Albania such as: Albanian, English, Italian language etc. The library is<\/span><\/span> constantly updated<\/span><\/span> with new materials from different national and international resources which includes <\/span><\/span>continued purchases<\/span><\/span> and contributes for different Albanian and foreign donators.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The <\/span><\/span>books in the library are used to help students and lecturers in conducting the academic, research and scientific process. <\/span><\/span>Besides the books,<\/span><\/span> the library also offers a quiet and warm environment and other necessary materials such as computers, printers, scanner etc. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

    The Building of the Department of Nursing is built in 90<\/span><\/span>-ti<\/span><\/span>es<\/span><\/span>. It is located near to the Hospital of <\/span><\/span>Kor\u00e7a<\/span><\/span> District where students conduct their teaching practices. The surface of the teaching facilities is about <\/span><\/span>1800 m<\/span><\/span>2<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/strong> <\/span><\/strong>The building has in its disposal<\/span><\/span> 3 lecture halls with a capacity of 40-60 seats <\/span><\/span>for each room<\/span><\/span>, 2 seminar halls and 7 laboratory rooms. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Laboratory of Obstetrics and Gynecology<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Surgical Laboratory<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2 Laboratories of Anatomical \u2013 Physiology<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    3 Nursing Laboratories <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      These laboratories are equipped with necessary materials for conducting the teaching classes such as: posters, <\/span><\/span>mannequins, medical teaching equipment<\/span><\/span>, medical instruments, <\/span><\/span>beds<\/span><\/span> for conducting the medical visits, <\/span><\/span>diapositif<\/span><\/span>, televisions, videos and other materials for the accommodation of students. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      In the faculty are also established the teaching secretary, the lecturers\u2019 halls, <\/span><\/span>archive office<\/span><\/span> some facilities for the students etc. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
